Error: Failed to detect code [xxxxxxxxxxxxx] in SYSLOG_LOG [/var/log/messages]
SYSLOG may not be running correctly on server.example.com

Check that rsyslog is running
# service rsyslog status

If rsyslog is not running then try to restart it
# service rsyslog start

You can manage rsyslog at WHM >> Service Configuration >> Service Manager"
