How to resolve cPanel Roundcube Webmail Error?

Accessing the webmail folder is easy but getting problem while opening or editing the file using Roundcube webmail is tough.

Unexpected condition from IMAP server, closed or corrupt connection to IMAP. Possible mailbox corruption.

Corrupted files will always through error so, check the corrupted file first.

Code:
Roundcube use database backend as MySQL: /var/cpanel/roundcube/log/errors
Roundcube use database backend as SQLite:
Version 78: /home/$username/tmp/errors
Version 78 after: /home/$username/logs/roundcube/errors.log
Enabling cPanel service for PHP-FPM: /home/$username/logs/.php.error.log

Step 1:
From the webmail session, kindly log out first. Go to the file manager and then go to the path /mail/ directory.

Code:
/home/<username>/mail/<domain name>/<email account name>/
Step 2: Search where the dovecot.index file and then change the name as dovecot.index.bak.

By now, you can see the user logs have recreated the index files. So, you won’t get problems anymore.
