Steps to enable URL rewriting in Joomla

  • For that you have to login into Joomla admin panel.
  • And then click on "System" and then select "Global Configuration" option.
  • Here you can see multiple tabs and you have to select "Site" tab.
  • You can see various options here under SEO Settings section you can see Use URL rewriting option. Click on "Yes" to enable it.
  • At last, click on "Save" button at the top-left corner of the page.
