Steps to setup email filter rules in Horde

Let’s see the procedure to create email filters in a horde:
Step 1: Firstly, log in to Horde webmail using username and password.
Step 2: At the right side corner, you can see the option called “Mail”. Click on the mail so that you will get a drop-down list that has three options such as filters, new messages, and search.
Step 3: Choose the first option filter to add the rules. You will be redirected to another section called “New rule”. For a hint, a new rule will be present above the options such as filter rules, white list, and blacklist.
Step 4: By now, you will be on a page to create a new filter rule. Fill up the setting page to use new filter rules like the below options:
Name of the rule: To add it to your filter listing, you must name the rule. So, decide the name first.
Step 5: Below, you can view the statement
Do this:
You are setting up this because the incoming mails should match your do this rule. Only so, the emails will be transferred to specific folders.
Step 7: Stop checking if the rule matches: Left of filters will be kept aside since it wants the confirmation that the emails are matched or not. If the emails matched then it stops the work.
Step 8: Finally, click on the Save button.

- Getting emails directly to the inbox: Setting a default option to get incoming emails directly into the inbox.
- Getting emails in the mailbox: Here, it will be directly sent to the folder specifically.
- Emails discard: To discard the email this option is recommended. Once if the emails got deleted, the sender or you will be informed by stating emails are discarded.
- Email redirection: Using this option, you can redirect this email directly to another account. Also, the email won't be existing in your account since you redirected it into another account.
- Redirecting and getting emails in the inbox: This is an advantage where you can redirect the incoming emails to another account simultaneously it will in your account too.
- A valid reason to reject the emails: The emails sent by the sender will be rejected so that you can give any other reason for rejection. A sender can read the reason for rejection.
Step 7: Stop checking if the rule matches: Left of filters will be kept aside since it wants the confirmation that the emails are matched or not. If the emails matched then it stops the work.
Step 8: Finally, click on the Save button.
