[Resolved] Error "The Server Responded 550 Access Denied" Microsoft Outlook.

In this article we will learn to resolve very common issue which mostly faced by user on Outlook "The Server Responded 550 Access Denied". This is very sad and little bit scary too as we have used all details correctly then what's wrong with the Outlook. Well, i have studied about this problem and check all the logs on exim server on cPanel server. But, didn't get any clue about this error that why it is popping in outlook. Then i double checked my email setting like username, password, incoming and outgoing mail server, port etc. In last i found the error was appearing because of the server security setting in SMTP which require to authenticate to be able to send mail out ( I could receive mail fine ).

Now to resolve this error you have to check this box "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication” in your Outlook.

Step 1). Click on Tools then click on E-mail Accounts

Step 2). Double click your Email account to open it's properties and Click "More settings"

Step 3). Select "Outgoing Server" tab and check "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication"

Step 4). Click "Ok" >> "Next" >> "Finish".
