Webmail provides a way of sending and receiving emails from a web browser which means you can manage your emails without an email client. On web mail you can compose a message and can read all the email messages in inbox. To access Webmail you can also use offline email client application like and Microsoft Outlook Express and Thunderbird. You just need to configure your Webmail account into your PC or laptop and you can get more features in comparison to Webmail.
There are three types of webmail applications :
· Horde
· Roundcube
· SquirrelMail
You can also configure your webmail account into your iPhone and if you are thinking that how you can do this? Let see……
1. Go to the settings icon.
2. Here choose “Mail, Contacts, and Calendars” option in setting menu.
3. Click on Add account menu in, Contacts, and Calendars option.
4. Now choose type of account like Mail.
5. Click on Add mail account and here you can add your account details.
6. In the new account interface enter your account information like Name, Email , Password, description and click on NEXT.
7. You can see toggle at the top of the screen and find two options IMAP and POP. Click on NEXT tap.
Note: it think you have to choose IMAP mailbox type otherwise in pop3 mailbox type all the mails will be download into your mobile and remove all the messages from server. Due to this you cannot able to access those messages from any other mail client.
8. In the net screen enter the incoming mail server like
· Host Name: enter you domain name.
· User Name : enter your email address.
· Password : enter the password for the email account.
9. Now again click on NEXT tap.
10. Now you have to disable the note application by clicking click on toggle button and SAVE it.
