How To Reset Your CPanel Account?

Have you ever tried to clear everything from your CPanel hosting package or try to reset your CPanel? If you want your CPanel as what it was like when you purchased it so here is the solution. With following steps you can easily do this.

To reset your CPanel account you have to follow simple 6 steps:
  1. Create a backup of all your data.
  2. Delete all your sub/add-on and parked domains
  3. Remove all your files.
  4. Remove your email addresses
  5. Remove all FTP accounts
  6. Remove all databases and associated users.

  • Create a backup of all your data:
However, the file looks unimportant to you right now but in case one day may be you want this file again. So before resetting your CPanel its must that you have to take backup of your all existing files.

  • Delete all your sub/add-on and parked domains:
Before resetting your CPanel always remove the entire subdomain, park domain, and addon domains. For that login to your CPanel and under the “Domain” tab remove these entire domains by hit the remove button.

  • Remove all your files:
Before reset your CPanel first removes all the file and folder. You can easily do this with using “file manager” option in CPanel.
  1. Login to your CPanel account.
  2. In “Files” tab Click on “File Manager”.
  3. Go to your public_html root folder by Web Root folder and roots of all your addon domains.
  4. Now click on “Select all”
  5. After selecting all the files click on “Delete” button, which is the ‘X’ icon on top.
  6. This will clear all your files.

  • Remove your email addresses:
Remove all the emails from your CPanel account for that you have to do
  1. Login to your CPanel account.
  2. Under “Mail” section Click on “Email Accounts”
  3. Click on “delete” button next to all your accounts.
  4. And the will deleted from your CPanel.

  • Remove all FTP accounts:
Delete all your FTP accounts from CPanel.
  1. Go to” File” section.
  2. Click on “FTP accounts”
  3. Click on “Delete” button appears on near to your FTP accounts.

  • Remove all databases and associated users.
It’s the last step before resetting your CPanel account. Remove your entire database and all associated files from CPanel.
  1. under your “Databases” section Click on “MySQL Databases”
  2. under “Current Databases” option Choose to “Delete Database”
  3. Scroll down to view all your database users.
  4. Click the ‘X’ button next to your users to remove all databases.

When these all steps will be done then your account is as good as brand new.
