- Log in to your Joomla website back-end using correct credentials
- Open the post where you want to insert the image. Below are some of the ways to do it:
- Click on Content. From the drop-down menu, select "Article Manager". Then select the article you want to insert image for. Find and hit the “Edit” tab and then Image tab located below the Article content window.
- If you’re creating a new post, then select the “Add New Article” option from the Control Panel to add an image for that.
- You can also add image from the front-end if you have explicit permission to do so. If you’re permitted, then click on the Edit tab. It’d open the editor where you can insert the image files.
- Next, you need to select the place where you want to place the image within the post. You can place it at the beginning, in the middle, or towards the end of the post
- Click on “Insert” on the screen. It will open up the insert image screen. Select the image and then click on the Insert button
- Lastly, you’d have to select the image properties like description, title, float, and provide a caption
- Click on Insert Image to insert the image
- Save the changes and exit
The second way to insert an image to your post is to use the Insert Image Panel. Here are the steps you need to follow:
- In the Upload section, click on Browse button.
- Select the image files that you want to upload.
- Start the upload process by clicking Upload. You’ll see a green button at the top when the process is complete.
- Insert the image into the post wherever you intend to.
- Save the changes and exit.
