If we are getting error “Websites with URL Rewrite do not work in Windows VPS”, but if Rewrite rules are not working for your website then you can resolve this error by changing the Application pool to “Integrated mode”. You can change application pool with below steps:
- First login to your server.
- Navigate to Start >> Administrative Tools >> IIS Manager.
- You will find connection windows; you have to click on server name to expand it.
- Select particular website and right click on it.
- Now select “Advanced Settings” option which is under “Manage Website”.
- You should click on Application pool and select particular application pool of your website.
- Click on the Application pool and Select the application pool with integrated from the dropdown.
- Click OK.
- Restart your Website.
