How to create metabase backup in IIS 5?

Let’s see how to create metabase backup:

• First click on Start button >> Programs >> Administrative tools >> Internet Services Manager.
• Now click on the name of computer.
• You have to click on “Backup/Restore Configuration” and you can see dialog box from which you can create backup of IIS 5 metabase for particular computer.
• After above steps you can click on “Create Backup” option and assign name for that backup.

NOTE: You cannot use any symbols in backup name, you can only use letters or numbers.

• At last click on “Ok” for the administrative settings. You can check the backup name and date and time are listed in previous backup dialog box.
• Now you have to click on Close and then quit IIS. Your backup is now completed.
