Steps to enable PHP-FPM option in WHM

What is mean by PHP – FPM?

To get PHP scripts defined with the set of domains alias workers an PHP handler is needed with efficient improvisation called PHP – FPM. It has the main role to identify and suits for visitor to know the browser improvement and it gives the direct results to apache. As a result, whenever user0 get traffic spikes it helps to get load time faster than previous strategy.

Step 1: Firstly, login to WHM (Web host manager). The login has to be done by root user. In the search bar, just type “php”.

Step 2: You will get a drop-down list showing many options below such as PHP open_basedir Tweak, service manager, phpMyAdmin, MultiPHP INI Editor and MulitPHP manager.

Step 3: After clicking on the MultiPHP manager option, you may get any warning stating that PHP – FPM is not installed on the system and also, it needs some configurations. So, by clicking below button the compatibility of PHP – FPM configures the extensions and modules exactly.

Step 4: If you didn’t get warning messages kindly proceed with the next step.

Step 5: Now, you will have the option PHP version per domain. Under that point, you have many websites created by your end. Choose the website for which you want to enable the PHP – FPM.

You have a check box and click on it. It will show as a right mark and select the option ON. Finally click on the button apply.

You will get a final message as “Successfully applied PHP-FPM settings to the selected domain”.
