How to enable SPAM protection in Plesk?

You can enable SPAM filtering service in Plesk to delete your SPAM emails, move spam emails to special folder or mark them as spam. You can choose option according to your choice.

Let’s see how to enable spam filtering for email address:
  • Login to Plesk.
  • Click on “Email” tab and then click on particular email account.
  • Now choose “Spam Filter” tab and check the checkbox “Switch on spam filtering for this email address”.

  • After that you have to select the option to do with your spam mails.
  • If you want to filter your emails by text then you can select “Mark spam messages by adding the following text to message subject” , you can also leave this textbox blank.
  • If you want to delete all incoming spam emails from your account then you can choose “Delete all spam messages” option. You have to choose if you know that your spam filter is correct otherwise your important emails can also be deleted.
  • You can also choose “Move spam to the "Junk E-mail" folder ” option, if you are using IMAP email account then you can use this folder to send spam mails.
